Progress 444-544 1958

Hey OK,

looks wonderful

As for the 544 driveshaft fitting in the 444? I'm also pretty sure they're the same length, although I can't prove it (yet - since I'm off work this week, I may come up with something more concrete).

I'm still baffled by what transmission I've got in my 57 444. The previous owner upgraded the engine to a B18 (D, I think) out of a 544 donor car, as best I can figure. I don't know if he swapped the tranny or not. If so, I imagine I've got an M4 transmission.

I've been under the car a few times (even changed the tranny oil) and I'll be darned if I can figure out how to tell its an M4 and not an M40 (or even the earlier 444 type).

I hope you're not scavaging all the good PV parts from Tucson ReVolvo. ;-P

I found my front bumper there..been meaning to get down there again. I would like to replace my doors with better ones..

belinda
