Tranny Fluid Change 200

I know I should of done it myself, but I took my
1983 240 in for a transmission oil change and gasket change.
Well, next day all of the sudden when I put her in
reverse it did'nt go into reverse until I moved the
shifter back into park and then back to reverse and
this has now happened half a dozen times in the past
week. Could new tranny oil cause this "slipping"?
