MSD-6A PLUS a Crane system??? 444-544

Now I'm totally confused. While tracking down the remains of the MSD wiring to pull it out, I discovered a Crane Ignition box hidden beneath the heater box in the engine compartment.

Not wired up that I can tell.

Apparently it was too much trouble to pull when they installed the MSD, or they were just lazy (I found a LOT of 'lazy' while fixing my PV's woes.)

Now I have to look up the Crane part number and try to find a troubleshooting guide for that.

It's entirely possible that the two systems were trying to work at the same time!
