car runs excelent!! however, tailights/ brake lights not working, drivers side 200

my talelights and brakelights don't work on drivers side. pass is fine, the only thing that works on drivers is the fog, rev, and blinkers..... the bulbs appear fine, and am not geting power to the brake/tale lights on drivers side. i tryed bending the bulb socket metal tabs up to contact the circut board but nothing happens. the wireing to the taillight looks fine and i jiggled the connections to see if that would work. mabey the contact paper burned up? when i removed the dash for a blowermotor, i reconnected the batt to move can and brake light switch stuck on.... mabey that messed it up? water got in the brake light, could that have shorted the circut board? i am at my wits end with these electrical problems lol!
