Bendix E-Brake part number mystery

I agree that they don't look like parking brake shoes for a 740 (which may or may not be the same on a 940, but likely are) but without digging through boxes and boxes of parts, I can't be certain of that. The notches on the inside edge look more complex than I remember them being. How big are the shoes? The diameter of the drum (inside the rotor) on a 740 should be 6.3" (160mm) approximately. The outside diameter of the shoes should be just a little less than that. Not sure what that figure is for a 240, but probably similar.

They look to me like they are for rear drum brakes, where those are the main brakes. If that's the case, there are literally hundreds of possible applications.
