Please help before I drop kick my 122! 120-130


Thanks for the input.

I know that I am getting power from the coil to the distributor because I pulled the coil wire to the distributor and saw a strong spark.
with every part of the ignition brand new. that means that the points, condenser, etc. are all working well. But when I pulled a plug out and grounded it to the engine, and no spark at any of the plugs.

The new cap and rotor and the old cap an rotor had the same result, no spark.

The big problem/hint to the problem is that the car would run perfectly, then pop and die. Then I would work on points/condenser/coil and it wold run again. Then it would conk out and die again.

So i am now thinking that it is the distributer in some way. It's out of the car now. I'm going to look at it.
