Check the O2 sensor type (edit/update) 700 1990

Well, I've got the wrong 02 sensor in there for sure. The wiring harness in the engine compartment is correct (3 wires), but I peeked underneath the car and the O2 sensor that's in there has one wire... somebody spliced a one-wire sensor into the harness. presumably the heating wires are taped off and dangling in space somewhere.

Thanks for the advice, at least I know that investing the hundred bucks now will be paid back by the third tankful of gas...
