In-laws talking smack about my 700 700 1990

Hello All !!
Pulling up or leaving my in-laws house, I notice a lot of smirks and a lot of sarcasm about my brick (I always keep it fully detailed inside and out). I'm very proud of the vehicle since it was babied by my father for the last 15 years and the fact that it's holding it's own with 206,000 miles on the original power and drive train. Understanding that these vehicles hold the record with the most miles as well as an outstanding safety record, I need some additional ammunition to fire back at my smart mouthed in-laws.
On the flip side, I am a 3 truck owner (my 2003 Chevy 2500HD crew cab that has been parked since I purchased the brick, 1982 Ford Bronco 4X4, and my wifes 2004 2500 Suburban daily driver). All the in-laws drive trucks (can you say redneck family?). It's been recently nicknamed the dork-mobile by the in-laws. I know I could fire back with some nick-names about them and what they drive, but then I'd be stooping myself to their level. I'd like to be way above this and reply intellectually with some solid facts.....

Any highlights would be greatly appreciated. And yes, I've done research on this automobile, but I'd love to hear from some real die-hard Volvo fans.

Cheers,
Vinnie
