studless 700

This is hilarious. My first philosophy for snow is, "for performance in snow, buy a car designed in Sweden". In the old days, 4wd was virtually unheard of, but we did fine... on narrow tires. The narrower the tire, the better it cuts through the snow to where the traction is. I have yet to own a set of studded tires, yet getting stuck is a very rare event (3 times in 55 years). A good car, good snow tires, and learning to drive your car in the snow, you need nothing else. The guys that change cars every couple of years, and believe that 4wd allows you to stop thinking, belong where you usually find them: in the ditch.
