Headlight Socket 900

Sorry about the delayed response John4Volvo's, I hope you are still interested.

During my wiring harness modification for my B23, I used two methods:

The removal and replacement of the faulty connectors with crimp on Radioshack quick blade connectors.

The soldering of good old factory connectors to new wiring using heatshrink tube. <---(preferred for smaller wire gauge)

In any event, you will most likey have to cut the defective socket out and replace it. Check out those crimpers, they work well in a pinch.


A faulty connection can present a fire risk.
