Oh boy.. here we go. Engine wiring harness.... 200 1984

so.. got nice weather... figured I'd tackle the project. Took about 5 minutes to see what might be my first snag...

My replacement harness has a plug that my car doesn't. It's a black plug next to the green wire... engine side, but right next to where it all goes through the firewall... see pic below of the replacement harness. Plug in question is the black one, far right. Extra points if you can ID the red car. My car has nothing to plug into that black one. Can I leave it disconnected and tape it off?

And.. I know my next question will be.. how do I know which injector wire goes where? Seems there is 1 long one, 1 medium, and two identical lenth short ones... I can label/figure out the longer two, but how do I know the short ones? Trial and error? 50:50?

I figure I'll run into more stuff soon.... so I'll be checking in.

Thanks!
