Allternator bearing squealing, how to replace

My Volvo (91 940T) recently developed a terrible squeal from under the hood, from what I've read I believe it is the Alternator bearing.

I have heard belts squeal before, this is way louder. It is relatively quiet under 1000 rpm, and gradually gets louder as rpms increase. The sound is definitely coming from the alternator area, I sprayed water on the belt to see if it would quiet down, it made no difference, so I'm pretty sure its the bearing.

My question is, how would I go about replacing the bearing? Is this any easy job? Would I need any special tools beyond sockets, pliers, other basic tools?

Thanks,
Mike
