1988 240 Wagon, Fuel relay continuous clicking FIXED!!!!! 200

PROBLEM FIXED!! Clicking relay and surging RPM's was caused by a bad ECU. Just picked one up at junk yard for $75 bucks and my wagon is purring again. Those of you that pointed towards the ECU were right on the money. Many thanks to all that took the time to help out with all the suggestions that ultimately eliminated almost everything possible causing the problem except for the ECU!! Many of you have mentioned re-soldering relay switches to get them back in service. Have any of you ever resoldered an ECU....just wondering as I would love to open mine up and see if anything obvious is wrong, have a working spare in my car for future troubleshooting. THANKYOU!!
Best Regards, Don
