142S Heater Hoses 140-160 1970

Just putting a 1970 142S back together and need help re heater hose routing. I know that the bottom heater outlet goes to the thermostat. Can someone please have a look at their car and tell me where the upper heater outlet hose goes to. It can either go to the right angled pipe out of the rear of the head or to the pipe coming from the side of the water pump. Much appreciated.

Wish I had another car to compare to.
