Synopsis of Tranny swap 200

Finally decided to pull the AW70 and go with my old M47
(AW70 leaks at speeds over 70 and forced into a down shift; gasket)

So here's how i plan it:
Elevate entire car on jackstands (duh)
Insert block of wood between block and firewall
Remove Center Support Beam
Remove Detach Drive shaft from Flex Joint to Pumpkin
Attach Tranny Jack (i bought one 6 years ago, awesome booger for $40)
Proceed with Cable and Sensor reoval
Remove Shifter linkage and hardware
Loosen Fan shroud
Allow tranny to tilt back to access all bellhousing bolts after wood is removed.
Position floor jack under Oil Pan for angle control (and backup support)
Remove bolts (inc.starter)
Remove Torque Converter during Tranny roll away

Seems pretty straight forward...

Installation for the M47 should be the reverse of the removal, right?

I intend to well document this CPS grafting to the M47 for future use by other brickers... I'll be using the crap out of a my Dremel! lol

The Clutch Pedal block? I figure remove the driver's seat and lay on you back on the floor board.

I WILL be using the M47 drive shaft and the entire Dana 30 sans Calipers.

I'm a little concerned about the Flywheel: Are they manufactured to take both types of transmissions? Bentely shows they are in their illustrations...

Oh well - this should be fun.. Thanks for any subsequent advice on this.

Tim
