Transmission/motor mounts replaced 200 1990

Not long ago I posted asking about replacement motor mounts. The general consensus was that purchasing them from a dealer was the best way to proceed.

I got mine from Tasca Volvo and decided to get the transmission mount as well.

There was no indication that there was any problem with the mounts in this car until the last time I changed oil and was unable to get the filter off. It is my son's car and he has a smooth driving style with easy starts and stops so no flopping around of the components was evident.

The image shows the transmission mount and the passenger's side motor mount have seperated. Mileage is 166K.

Have you checked your motor mounts recently?
