tire sizes revisited 200

Hi all,
I am in the market for 4 snow tires for my '91 245 and have a preference for Nokians.

My local independent Volvo shop is also a Nokian dealer. I know they know about the tire size discrepancy with 240s.

I visited the Nokian web site and when you use their 'vehicle search' option and that brings up commercial/light truck tires with a size of 185/80/R14.

When I look for Hakka 2s (the tires I ordered) the only size they have close is 185/70/14.

So, should I opt for the commercial tires? Or should I accept the too small Hakka 2s? Any experience with the heavier tire would be appreciated.

I could try and rustle up a set of 15" 740 rims but would prefer to avoid the extra $$... And the sizes offered by Nokian still don't seem to coincide with the recommended sizes listed on this site.

(I was hoping to get tires closer to the correct dimensions)Thanks,

Rod
