Blackstone radiator

I always keep my eye out for an aftermarket supplier of Blackstone radiators and I have yet to find one in the 10 years that I have been in business. While the Nissens are all metal and can be had with either 2 rows or 3 they pretty much pale in comparrison to a Blackstone. Sure the necks get soft on the factory Blackstones and sure they can and do break off with catastrophic results but in my experience they all go 100K or so before problems occur. I have run Nissens for years as well and in my experience you are good to get 5 years service out of one before it starts to leak coolant out of the seams. Because they are all metal they do not seem to have the catastrophic failures that a Blackstone can have but they last half the time at best. If you want a Blackstone the only source that I have found for them is through a Volvo dealer, although you may find them elsewhere there is typically no price break on them.
