center support bearing/bushing=where to find best quality

I have a support bearing bushing that looks like its all cracked and ready to go. The bearing is making the winter howl at times, for the 4th year now. After searching the archives and FAQ I had to wonder if maybe the easiest approach is to just replace the bushing. I have a vibration on take off and assumed it was a u-joint but from what I've been reading it could be the bushing.

If I just decided to replace the bushing then no pressing would be needed right cause the bearing would be re-oiled and left on. That sounds nice. But if I decide to replace the bearing where can I find the best brand (best quality). I'm not sure about Scantech at FCP Groten. Not looking to do this job again on this car for a long time.

Also finding the diameter of the driveshaft? I assume you just hold the measuring tape under it and eye the width? Or is it measured all the way around the shaft?
