refreshing front calipers 120-130

I recently bought a pair of used front calipers with stainless pistons, There are no dust boots and the O rings were replaced not long ago. I plan to just replace the dust boots with new ones I have on hand.
Any helpful tips or "musts to avoid" from others who have done this? Compressed air to remove the pistons and then careful installation of the boots and then lastly the pistons through the boots and into the O rings. I have a set of O rings, short one for the large piston. I know planetman Eric will chime in with something useful, like replace everything rubber - Tom suggested I ask him for the single O ring I need. Got one?
What's the best way to evenly/squarely reinstall the pistons, no nicks being imperative?
