Heater Core Install 900 1992

Well when investigating why the heat wasn't working on the new purchase I now know why I got such a deal---the PO bypassed the heater core!

Oh well. While waiting for the repair manual to get here I'll read the archives and FAQ on heater cores. Any advise on where to purchase a new one? Which brands to avoid etc?

I know the 240s are built around the blower fan and I assume the 940s are built around the heater core right?
