So I'm assuming the brakes should not have a LOT of travel before strong braking.
There is some in the for, oh say 3/4 of stroke, but not a lot. You can lock the wheels up, but it takes a good jab.

Replaced hard and soft lines in front, rotors and calipers with pads. Power bled them all in correct order, couldn't get anything other than a mushy pedal. Finally decided the master cylinder had given up the ghost in sitting for a week with no front calipers. Pulled one off my parts car that still had a good hard pedal and installed it, power bled starting at the caliper lines, all around. It has some now, but like I said, long travel, hard braking is way down there.
I'll probly pick up a master cylinder shortly, cheap as they are. Is there an adjustment procedure for the rod in the booster? There does not seem to be a bunch of free play in the pedal though.

Yes the calipers are dimpled on each side of each of them, and it's well and throughly bled as it's gonna get for now.
