Engine mount removal question 200 1986

You will have to remove the oil filter and change the oil like you said. Be sure to disconnect the battery and remember that the Alt is just sitting there waiting to short out if you don't.

There is a 12mm bolt on the top side of the mount in the front (near the Alt) that can be a b*tch to get loose. Read on the BB to use a 12mm racketing box in wrench and that does the trick. If the mount in broken this will not be a problem. I leave the lower mount bolts loose on both sides so when you raise the engine up it keeps the strain off the other mount when you raise the engine.

Other that being a bit tighter should go pretty much like the other side. Only with a bit more oil.

Good Luck,

PT
