240 vs 740 200 1992

I have seen a number of comparisons between 240's and 740's. I drove a 740 wagon for 6 years. Just got a 240 wagon 3 months ago. Here is my recent observation: The 245 handles much better in the rain. The 745 seemed too light in the rear in slippery conditions: Wheels spinning at acceleration, loss of traction around curves.

The 245 seems like the weight is distributed better. It is beyond a tire issue, so don't bring that up. I tried many different tires on the 745.

Just my 2cents.
