camshaft? timing? idk, engine help wanted 120-130

well i have a '65 122s with a b20, and it started dieseling for about a week(mildly) and i expected it was overheating. i didnt do anything about it, so one drive, all power was gone, luckily i was not too far from home, so i got it safely there. upon inspection i saw what was causing a very loud tapping. one of the pushrods was completely loose.

i removed the head and found the lifter under it, at the very back, to be laying on it's side. i suspected major problems with my camshaft, so i ordered a new one. installation of a new one, and further inspection is something id like to do myself, but i just dont have the resources for that kind of major engine work. im stuck, and cant seem to find anyone to work on it.

whittier/ so cal area, any help appreciated.
