bulb failure relay 900 1994

I replaced my bulb failure relay 1 month ago,whichI bought new from FCP Groton and now the headlights and brake lights are out again.I read somewhere that this relay and be jumpered out and the only thing that you would lose is the bulb out indication on the dash.I really don't care about the indication, I need to fix this problem once and for all.Can anyone tell me how to wire around this relay.Thanks and Merry Christmas
