Greasing the PV 444-544

I just got through with the delightful annual chore of greasing my PV544. Knowing that the inner upper control arm swivels would give me a rough time, I bought a pneumatic grease gun. Well, forget it, no way could I get any grease to go in those two nipples, not even with 110 lbs of pressure, so I went back to my manual gun. I now have a stiff neck and a sore right shoulder and arm from squeezing the damned thing, and I'm still not sure if I got any grease in. I've been told that the grease would go in more easily if I jacked up the whole control arm assembly, but up or down, still no go, or if any go, very little of it - no old grease squeezing out from under the rubber seals. I had the whole assembly apart for inspection and seal replacement some years ago and I know all the passages are free. Anyone else having this problem?
