I'm having a problem installing new PS motor mount...Help!!! 200 1986

I thought this would be easy....wrong. The old passenger side motor mount came out with no issues. I removed the alternator so I could put new accessory mounts in at the same time. But when I tried to reinstall the the motor mount, the three bolts that go into the block are sitting about 3/4" above the holes in the block. I loosened the nuts on the DS so when I raised the engine, thinking that would give it even play in upward movement to meet the bolts, but again, no luck. Any suggestions? I'm starting to get a headache over this....I think it's stress......

Thanks.
