Automatic? 120-130 1967

Guys;

Unless I'm drunk and disorderly, I was under the impression the Automatic equipped 122s came with 4.30, the standard (no OD) 4.10, and the Standard+OD, who knows, they were prety rare (I do see in Derek's post, that he states 4.56) ...maybe someone has some definate reference material which could verify all this...also, were there possibly differences in gearing for the vehicles delivered in Europe or Stateside?

...and while were at it, what about 1800s?

David;

If I had an opportunity to acquire a CLEAN example of an Amazon for that kind of money and the only issue was the fact that it was automatic, there would be no question for me...I'd get it!...hey, as a matter of fact, that already happened to me, and now I own this one

...and I can say that I'm happy I own such a beautiful example...and as far as not "driving very well on the highway" ...I wouldn't say that at all...it motors along just fine, and that all day at 70-75mph (which is not a rolling hazard, and keeps up dandy with traffic).

You can always lower the Revs. by a little by fitting slightly larger Circ. tires in the rear...poor mans OD if you plan to do a lot of hispeed traveling...

As always, the best advise IMO is: Buy the best sheetmetal you can afford!

Cheers
