Greasing the PV 444-544

In 1983 I had my 1961PV on a lift at a friends business changing the oil and greasing the car. The right side kingpin, one of the two grease fittings wouldn't take gease. He unscrewed the fitting and held a propane torch to the kingpin area for what seemed like 15 minutes. I thought it was extreme but he was confident and old enough to know about these things, 45 years he worked on cars. I tried to put grease in there this summer, still no go. He didn't get it in then either. I haven't put many miles on since 1983. KP
