83 244DL Stalls while driving 200 1983

My 1983 will stall while driving down road. Step on clutch, turn off and on key, and engine will restart when the clutch is released. System relay will "buzz" at the same time, as if there is a short on the output. Have opened and checked both system and fuel pump relays visually. Previously had tank pump replaced for failure. Just replaced main fuel pump for troubleshooting this problem. The stalling is intermittent at this time. Maybe happens a number of times in a row, and then no problem for some time. 160K miles
