Stromberg to Weber Conversion 140-160

Hello,

I'd say stick with the Weber for now. They work okay if jetted correctly and are a far better solution than leaky Strombergs or rough S.U. carbs. Properly jetted, they should allow you to have adequate performance. But I do agree with all the others that it'd be a great idea to save up for a properly refurbished set of SU's. Old S.U. sets simply don't want to maintain tune (even if rebuilt). SUs only, Joe Curto, and Z Therapy are great sources for properly refurbished SUs. They really are super for Volvos and incredibly adaptable. Best of luck!
