Too much cooling 120-130

Here's a notion. Today it was 9 degrees F out when I went to work (~5:30 AM). I had to run the car at full choke until I hit the highway, when I shut it down after finally coming to the low side of warm. It ran kinda poorly until I got off near my destination, and then the temp crashed down to about 1/4 of warm. I did not open the heat when it crashed, it's just that the car did not want to warm up.

It was relatively fine on the way home (~25 F 0). Normal heat and operation.

After a couple hot close-calls this past summer, I upgraded my 68 to use my old 1971 1800E radiator, shroud and flex-fan. It works like a champ... and now I think maybe it works *way* too well in the winter.

I'm thinking an electric fan (or maybe one of those radiator shades) is the way to go

Please let us know what you do. I'd like to follow suite when it warms up a tad...
