hesitation fuel mix prob? 200 1986

I can't seem to locate actual gasoline in Philadelphia....it is all a 90% gasoline 10% ethanol blend. ever since I began using this stuff...I have been experienceing hesitation when flooring her off of a dead stop. I don't know if this is the culpret, but I put a new distributor cap and rotor in and that settled down the idle but did nothing for the hesitation...mind you this is not a huge hesitation, just a little shutter....and only under full throttle immedately off of the line. It is almost as thought he knock sensor (replaced 2 years ago) is hearing a knock and retarding the timing momentarily. 3000miles ago i replaced the plugs and wires and checked the timing, which is dead on at factory spec....(i can't recall what is should be without opening the manuel but i think it was 12DBTC?...well at any rate mine matched the book) Am I way off here or are any of you experiencing the same thing? I thought ethanol content would raise the resistance to detination but at the expense of power and economy...
