stalling 200

once the car gets up to temp it likes to stall, especially in park... sometimes in drive when I'm not on the gas... After I flog the crap out of it on the highway, it's usually fine - but still has an idle that goes down to 300rpm and then kicks back up to 1000+ rpm and sways back and forth.

it's getting very annoying. I'm not looking forward to the commute home after work, if the car wants to act up.

I'm thinking it could be the air idle valve...

do I have to take apart the intake manifold/tb to get to that little silver valve thingy?
