Plastic ring - Hmmm, I admit, that was an assumption on my part. I don't know the size of it. Would it fit the reservoir cap? Re comments elswhere, the early cars didn't have a remote reservoir but most will have been converted. The original filler cap can be modded to take a tube for the hose and the breather blocked off. I think new type caps are available from PV parts sources.
