Your 'favorite year' 240? 200

Well, seems like it's usually repair discussion here, but I thought maybe I'd try something a little different.

Just as the topic suggests, which year 240 do you prefer? I always though that I would like a 93 the best, and once I got one I was amazed at just how much progress Volvo made even from 1988. There are some subtle mechanical changes (even the atf filler tube extension is amazingly helpful). The ride is smoother, quieter, plus it has ABS, SRS, and all manner of improved interior stuff. I know some of you prefer older ones though, for mechanical or design reasons. So, in short, what's your ideal year/model 240 and why?
