engine code 113, part 2 200 1991

The saga continues.... I unplugged the AMM and it ran horrible. Reset the code and went ahead and thoroughly cleaned the throttle body and put in a tb new gasket, too. The car wanted to stall out but when up to temperature the engine ran well (smooth)in the driveway. I ran it around the block once. All fine. Ran it around the block again. Same result. Idled at 800 and smooth. Then I turned it off, waited 5 seconds, and the car started but the idle surged up to 1500 and stayed there. I'm giving up for the night, but if anyone has any other suggestions, then I'm listening. Thanks. George
