Im dropping the tranny on my '87 wagon to replace the clutch, my first time doing this job. I think I've got the tranny ready to drop, but it is still stuck to the engine. I took out the 2 starter bolts, the 2 bolts on the exhaust bracket, 2 lower bolts, and the infamous upper bolt for a total of 7 bolts, did I miss one somewhere? maybe something else is sticking? Ive got the shifter out (and backup light disconnected), the driveshaft and crossmember dropped, the exhaust downpipe disconnected, is there anything else? maybe I just need to bang it to jar it loose...
