Fuel for our cars 1970

the recent Autoweek Mag. Has an article on Ethanol Page 28. Im concerened because I take my 210 off the road for the winter (5 Months) and drive my 122. When I restored the car I had the gas tank cleaned and treated by the RENEW process $200.00. I hope it will protect the tank. They say the ethanol can act like a solvent and loosen the sludge. It also absorbs water and sinks to the bottom of the tank. Im an old 67 year old volvo mechanic that always believed in Fill the tank and start the car every 30 days during the storage period. What do you do? Drain everything? add additives? Maybe I should not worry, Its a Volvo.
Thanks
John in New Jersey.
