960 removing the fuel pump 900

Getting the ring off is just the first step. Unless you're really good a few tips will help you. You don't say what year your 960 is and I don't know if you've got the oversized later tank or the earlier standard tank or an in-tank pre-pump or in-tank main pump, but it doesn't really matter -extrication is pretty much the same. The fuel pick-up assemblies are slightly different (the former has a spring loaded longer barrel that requires a little more effort to remove and re-install).
