240 low speed 'stumble' 200 1984

Hi all, I have recently acquired a 1984 240 with Bosch injection. The car runs pretty well but seems to have a stuble or flat spot in the throttle response at relatively low rpms. The transmission type is an M46 and this is most noticable in the shift from 1-2 and 2-3. Strangely it does not seem to manifest itself when starting from a dead stop in first gear. I know my SUs but the Bosch injection on these cars is totally unfamiliar to me! Idle seems to be a bit rough also, could be ignition? Any ideas on diagnostics appreciated!

TIA & Cheers!
