Door Panel Removal: Removing the Omega clips 120-130 1966

Regarding my '66 122s 2 door.

I'm trying to take the door panel off of the passenger side door. There is a bunch of junk in the doors clocking up the drains. I can hear water (and other debris) sloshing about inside the door.

For what ever reason, the passenger door panel is providing to be more difficult to remove then the drivers side. I was able to get the driver side panel off with out too much trouble, but I did still struggle removing the Omega ("c") clips that hold the door and window handles in place.

I've got the IPD tool, but the instructions that came with it don't really make a whole lot of sense to me. I'm not really sure what the tool is suppose to really hook on to

Are there any tricks? I've tried searching the archives but I can't seem to find any useful info.

Thanks!
