Thanks Fredrik,Shes left hand drive all right. A little about the car. I will take pictures and post them on the amazon site. When I got the car from a Volvo collecter here in new Jersey he didnt want to part with it. He hardly ever drove it but he knew it was unusual.I wanted a 69 or 70 because of my days as a Mechanic in Berkeley California. One day in 1970 a Canadian couple drove down to Ca. for vacation. They needed a oil change.,This was the first time I saw the later version. I thought production stopped in 68.my interest started again last year,Ive finised the restoration on my 210,and wanted a 122. 69 or 70.Well needless to say I was out of luck.Until the service manager at the local volvo dealer told me about this collector. I got the car last year. Now about the car. (BORED YET?) The interior was completly changed,a new volvo headliner installed. Body in good shape no rust in floors or fenders.The previous owner,I suspect the canadian owner wanted to make a GT out of it.He installed the gt dash,tach,and overdrive.I took one look at the upholstery and Gagged. I took it ALL out. I stripped out the dash ,tach. The original rubber mats were gone,I ripped out the carpets. On and ON I went removing everthing that didnt look original.Now the restoration has begun. Complete interior from VP autoparts,This is slow going due to all the original being gone. After research apparantly the 69 and 70 did not have door pockets or rear armrest.Ive taken pictures of the car when I got it and will take more as I get things done Thanks for reading this mess. I love the car and will continue the restoration. Regarding the year letter. No "S" appears on the firewall Just the full Vin. someone changed carbs to sus with the aluminum intake manifold. I removed all that and got the late style cast Iron manifold without the mixing Chambers.Who knows what the factory installed? could have been SUs or Zeniths. I dont think Ill ever be able to get that information.
