Help with non-start when engine is hot 700 1990

Been there done that. It's a real b***h, when you stop to fill up and end up blocking the service station driveway and 'clicking ' until the engine cranks.

Close to the battery you will see one or two (depending on model of car) relays. These relays give trouble. If you have one, replace it when you can, if two, try switching them around. Theory is that the relays develop fine cracks/dry joints etc over time.

As a short term measure, if your car only has one, you can open it up and resolder each of the joints and apparent cracks.

cheers
