Which model GM blower motor can I use? 700

Had the same experience on our '87. A year ago last fall, replaced the original blower motor that was noisy. Last summer, the new one (not Volvo/Bosch) started screaming. Yes, it's a spine twister, snot drainer/plugger, ain't it? Found the bottom bearing rusting with obvious water presence. Didn't think of drilling a drain hole. DUH! Oh well. But thanks to the accessibility through the cooling hose hole, I generously lubed the bottom (and top) bearing, leaving a small oil puddle for the lower bearing. BTW, that back screw is accessible with a flexible drill driver extension from Harbor Freight. It's about 6" long and a hugemongous help. But aren't we thankful they changed the blower cage design from our wonderful 240s?! Those who've been THERE, know... Hours and piles of parts on the garage floor compared to the spine twister and 30 minutes or so. I do count our blessings for that!
