Oil in air filter *pics* 200 1979

Hello, everyone. Just got a sweet '79 245 wagon. I was all excited to install my new K&N today and found a VERY strange hose setup going into airfilter box. This hose, connected to head, was also leaking oil onto the air filter and into the box! (See link for pics)

The engine seems to be running fairly well, about 200K, good even compression @149 or so, but mileage not great. Just changed the oil. Any link?

It looks kinda rigged up to me, but I'm somewhat of a newbie. What's going on? What should I do?

Thanks a million.
