245'ers tailgate question: 90-93 in a 1989? 200

Wagon owners here: Obviously a 90-93 wagon tailgate glass is different (more squared off and and flush) than the 89 and back models...other than that difference, will a 90-93 tailgate fit my 89 (with odd-ball rounded glass).

I have a chance to get some parts off of a matching gold 245 wagon that's a 1990 and has the newer glass. Want to know if anyone's done this swap?
