240 won't start 200

Hey all.
My 95' 240 wagon won't start again. I turn the key, the instrument board lights up, I hear the click from I believe the fuel sender relay and sometimes a pathetic noise (like a click) maybe from the starter but she won't even crank. If I jump the 2 points on the starter she fires right up though. I cleaned the contacts on the fuse in the engine compartment and replaced the fuse. I pulled the fuel relay and it looks good to me but I ordered one anyway just now. I had a friend who had the same baffling problem. His mechanic ended up putting in a push button start which works great but I want to solve the problem, not circumvent it. Thanks for all the help with this and in the past.
