Hi all,

I very recently joined the happy ranks of 700 owners. I found a high-mileage 740 Turbo with a perfectly protected from Canadian winter body.

I was expecting a real project car for the price but I drove it 200km home and it was a beautiful ride. Everything works except the e-brake and it's missing a fog lamp ... oh and the usual dropping headliner.

I've got a 240DL wagon that's waiting for spring body work and when I saw a nice 740 ad, I thought it might be a great beater until the wagon is ready. Now I don't know how I'll not want to be in the turbo!
